INNOVA perfromed architectural, civil, and structural design for a new 74-unit multi-family development in Tacoma. This project is located in the MLK mixed-use district of Tacoma. The design uses small building concepts having 4 stories and4 units per story so that every unit is on a corner of the building offering maximum light into the units. A central entrance provides the urban security desired. A central courtyard provides outside space, and parking is provided under one edge of the lower building and additional parking along the back alley. The property is designed specifically to accommodate the hillside sloping site to benefit the appeal of the property for tenants as well as to take advantage of the sweeping territorial views from the project, looking over downtown Tacoma, the waterway, the Port and Mt Rainier.
